A-KON report (2nd place for cosplay!)

Last weekend I went to A-Kon with my boyfriend and one of my best friends, and we cosplayed as Toadette, Lakitu, and Toad from Mario Kart! We had karts and everything : [link]

My friend from college, xkuroxnekox, also came up for saturday for her first con experience.
We entered the hall cosplay contest and got 2nd place and a shiny trophy! Fatal1ity (the world champion pro gamer dude) loved our costumes too and actually came up to us and took a picture and stuff. We were so happy!

There were also all these awesome deviants in the artist alley:
alicechan, anarahk, cutemew, budgie, jyotii, edotastic, fayrenpickpocket, fongmingyun, nayuki-chan, pallid, pink, sypri, korilin, and yanimator!
Apparently I also missed out on meeting a few such as lequiem, sibie, suu-mon, sasuto, kanisaki, kingdomkey, and thefuzzysocks ;;
I hope I'm not forgetting anyone!

HOMG, you cosplayed?! I can't believe I missed you! I was there only on Saturday though. But, fglfdg, how could I have missed such awesomeness?

I saw anarahk, alicechan, and fayrenpickpocket, though. It was kindov hard not to, since they had such stunning tables. :heart:

maybe, i want to! i'm not sure yet though. i was thinking i could just go up for saturday and share a table with someone and do sketch commissions.

And, ehehe, I was planning on getting a table with somebody else, so I'd feel so bad if you paid any part of it, 'cause we'd be a little crowded anyway. xD We could totally make room for you on Saturday. 8D Yup, yup.
